securing apache

Try to summarize some settings to secure apache:

*) Disable TRACE:

RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_METHOD} ^TRACE
RewriteRule .* - [F]

mod_rewrite is needed, also has to be done in the <VirtualHost www.example.com> section.
